Trichology

Trichology requires a broad perspective.

The condition of the scalp and hair does not exist in isolation from the rest of the body. That is why the program covers not only the structure and physiology of the skin and hair, but also topics such as hormonal balance, nutrition, pharmacology and other factors that may affect hair condition.

The goal is not to take over the role of a physician. The goal is to understand the underlying mechanisms, observe correctly, and recognize when a client needs to be referred to another specialist.

Ilona Junga

About me

A practitioner with a medical background and the founder of the Polish Trichological Association

My path to trichology did not begin with a textbook, but with my own struggle with hair loss in 2006. While searching for answers, I combined my medical training as a nurse (specializing in operating room nursing) with my fascination with functional medicine.

Over more than 18 years of running my own practice, I have analyzed thousands of trichoscopic images. I founded the Polish Trichological Association to set the highest standards in this field. At the Academy, I don't pass on dry theory. I give you a ready-made diagnostic and product system, tested on real patients, with which you can enter the market safely and with confidence.
